Muestra del trabajo en proceso By Chance of Circumstances

Marusya Byzova (she/her) is a performer and multidisciplinary artist from Saint Petersburg, Russia, with a background in contemporary and ballroom dance, vogue, performance art, theatre, architecture, and visual arts. Her work explores transitional states, symbolism, and layered storytelling. She co-created and performed in artist-led projects in Saint Petersburg, was part of a community developing the ballroom scene in Yerevan, Armenia, and collaborated with local artists in Lisbon, Portugal after completing Forum Dança’s PACAP7, alongside her solo projects. Marusya holds a BA in Architectural Environment Design from Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (2016–2021).

Jakob von Kietzell (he/him) is a queer, multidisciplinary creative at the intersection of dance, performance, visual arts and design, based in Berlin and around Europe. He is passionate about cross-collaborations, exploring human relations, storytelling and site-specific work. Jakob holds a BA in Design from UAS Potsdam (2016–2021), with a year abroad at the Faculty of Multidisciplinary Arts at Shenkar in Tel Aviv. He then completed various training projects for contemporary dance and creation, including ‘PERA Short’ in Cyprus at the GAU, ‘Anfibia’ in Bologna at Leggere Strutture and ‘PACAP7’ in Lisbon at Forum Dança. Alongside his artistic work, he is employed remotely as a UX/UI designer.

Renan Capivara (he/him) is a performer and creator working at the intersection of dance, choreography, and the performing arts. He has pursued his artistic and educational training in Brazil and Portugal, including a licentiate degree in Dance Education (UFC, Brazil) and participation in the 7th edition of PACAP (Fórum Dança, Portugal). He has performed, created, and choreographed in independent projects, and has also worked as a yoga instructor and arts/movement teacher in formal school contexts. He currently lives between Lisbon (PT) and Nuremberg (DE), where he is pursuing a Master’s degree in the Live Art Forms Programme at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste Nürnberg.
