ÉLISE MOREAU (Avignon, France, 1992) is a dancer, choreographer, and educator. She has lived and worked in Barcelona since 2017.
She studied contemporary dance in France and Belgium, graduating from the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. During this period, she began her career as a performer for creators such as Romeo Castellucci, Dominique Boivin, and Jaco Van Dormael.
Upon arriving in Barcelona, she co-founded the Iniciativa Sexual Femenina collective, where she develops performative and pedagogical work from a libertarian, anti-academic, and feminist perspective. Since 2018, she has been part of Makrâl, a multidisciplinary Franco-Belgian collective exploring in-situ practices to activate collective memory in rural territories.
In 2022, she initiated Sensibilidad artificial, a solo research and creation project supported by La Caldera, La Visiva, and La Poderosa (Barcelona). She is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Dance Movement Therapy at Université Paris-Cité.
As a dancer and choreographer, she advocates for handcrafted performative action—free from major external resources—for its potential for universality, economic accessibility, and, therefore, its ability to break elitist barriers. Her research aims to be intimate and porous, capable of questioning, entertaining, and shaking perspectives.
NOELA COVELO (Pontevedra, 1994) has lived and worked in Barcelona since 2012. Her artistic practice revolves around the voice as matter, medium, and sonic space, with a growing interest in choral composition and the choir as a transformative element of space.
She has presented solo exhibitions at Bombon Projects (2022) and the Tortosa Museum (2022), as well as performances in venues such as Nyam Nyam, Mieres, Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo (Madrid, 2023), and La Capella (Barcelona, 2024). She was awarded the Generación 2025 Prize.
Noela holds a degree in Design (specializing in Fashion) from ESDi and a Master's in Sound Art from the University of Barcelona. She is co-founder of c h o r o, an experimental pedagogical environment, and Foc. Since 2022, she has been part of the Radio Web MACBA working group.
She has collaborated with artists such as Maguette Dieng, Mookie, Quim Pujol, Victor Ruiz Colomer, Júlia Rúbies, and Arash Fayez. Her work seeks to embody thought and analyze sensations, creating bodily and sonic practices that enable transformation and emotional healing.
A chronic illness recovery process awakened her spiritual abilities, leading her to work in channeling, energy healing, and consciousness journeys.
From 2016 to 2022, she was part of the Centro Huarte leadership team, and she is currently developing a doctoral thesis on expanding perception and non-hegemonic knowledge systems.
